Hatcher, Robin Lee. The Heart’s Pursuit. Grand Rapids MI: Zondervan Publishing. 2014.
SUMMARY:
Deserted at the altar, Silver Matlock vows to find her ex-fiance who stood-her-up and stole from her family. Hiring bounty-hunter Jared Newman, Silver encounters a bit more than what she bargained for when accompanying Jared through desolate mining towns, rugged terrain and arduous travel. Silver and Jared learn they must work together to overcome their individual situations to gain a chance at a future…
A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Different than her other novels, Robin Lee Hatcher admits to taking a departure from her usual settings of books. Adventure, mystery, romance and travel all contribute to an enjoyable story albeit a bit slow and predictable in parts. The main characters were well planned and interacted naturally within the contexts. Coupled with some serious situations as well as some light-hearted banter, The Heart’s Pursuit was definitely worth the read. As a side note, I liked the cover picture of the book along with the slightly textured feel and thickness of it…glad I judged this book by the cover!
RATING:
4 (out of 5) pennies

Would you recomend this bounty hunter book for a adventourus climber out doors man???
Thanks!!! Keep reading!!!
Definitely!
Predictable was probably a good word for this book. This wasn’t really one of my favorites that I’ve read from Hatcher. Although, I have to agree that the cover is awesome (I had an eBook copy, so I didn’t know about the texture) but the look of it is very nice!
