A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Having heard of the Keto method of nutrients and lifestyle, I was intrigued enough to further research the diet. As an interesting and easy to understand book, The Keto Reset Diet definitely answered several of my questions as well as made a case for this manner of sustenance. Though not quite ready to commit, I will try some of the included recipes while I investigate and read further. With lots of information regarding nutrition, metabolism, health, and ingredients, even if the Keto diet is not strictly followed, there are absolutely some healthy ideas and suggestions to incorporate into a healthier lifestyle. A great book to read while deciding if this diet is right for you.

As I’ve already made several of the healthy lifestyle changes suggested, this newly updated version now supplies a 21 day meal plan which follows the modified Mediterranean Diet as a suggested starting point. With clear evidence of the positive effects of the Dash Diet and Mediterranean Diet, this book enhances those diets with healthy choices for food, exercise, awareness and faith. Full of really helpful information with specific illnesses and challenges organized by chapters, it provides nutritious menus, foods to avoid, and personal stories that may change your life for the better. As a New York Times best-selling author specializing in anti-aging medicine, Dr. Don Colbert has impacted many through his research and walk with God.

Full of motivational tips, nutritional eating make-overs, and healthy information, The Skinnytaste Cookbook helps make losing and maintaining weight through food choices fun and yummy. Recipes included are for breakfasts, soups, sandwiches, appetizers, salads, meats, sides and of course, desserts. Key information (calories, carbs, fat, fiber) is included with each recipe as well as easy-to-follow directions, additional food facts, and “skinnyscoops” which gives the author’s personal thoughts/ experiences with each recipe. Appetizing and extremely palatable while being nutritional and weight conscious…it doesn’t get any better than The Skinnytaste Cookbook!
