A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Full of beautiful imagery and skillful writing, I so appreciated the manner in which this book was written. Through the word choices, the deep visualizations, the dual timeframe, and the eloquence of speech, author Amanda Dykes had me from the first few pages with her debut novel, Whose Waves These Are. Surrounding the theme of water and waves, the quote “Every wave…is a story” is carried throughout the book, resulting in a seamless circle-style story. Savoring this book while at the same time not being able to put it down, it was touching, heartwarming, sensitive and moving. Definitely a book I will recommend as well as an author I will read again.

As book 3 in the Sunset Cove series by author Colleen Coble, Twilight at Blueberry Barrens combines romance, suspense, mystery and hope that life may return to normal…

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
As always, author Colleen Coble delivers again. Though it took me a few pages to get into the story this time, soon the pages were flying as usual. With returning characters and several situations happening at once, the suspense and mystery kept me guessing while the romance sweetened the deal. Absolutely a favorite author, I already look forward to more books, perhaps even continuing in this series.

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Full of suspense, romance, twists, and a revolving plot, author Colleen Coble writes a thrilling second novel in her Sunset Cove series. Though not necessarily related, each book could stand alone yet some of the characters reappear in this story. Infused with faith, emotions and beautiful descriptions, Mermaid Moon is definitely a welcomed continuation in the series from a talented author. With the next book already in process for fall of 2016, Twilight at Blueberry Barrens, I know it will be on my have-to-read list.

SUMMARY:
oceanLost in the woods for a year at the young age of 4, Claire Dellamare revisits the area many years later. Unable to remember any of the details, Claire must rely on her parents, members of the community, handsome Luke Elwell and stubborn Kate Mason, to fill in the blanks. Set on the coast of Maine, an intricate plot of murder, dishonesty, family and secrets evolves rapidly…

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Quite a new direction on a mystery for me, I enjoyed The Inn at Ocean’s Edge as a new start to a series. Full of unseen twists, unfortunately, I did find myself a bit confused at times with the characters. Once straightened-out though, I was invested to the finish. I particularly found interesting the knowledge of Maine as well as the information on Orcas; definitely wonderful and interesting additions to the story. I look forward to the next book in the Sunset Cove series due out in December 2015- Mermaid Moon.
