A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Gripping suspense from the beginning, Moving Target is non-stop action. With romance thrown into the suspenseful mix, Lynette Eason provides yet another excellent addition to her Elite Guardians series. Able to stand-alone, the characters are all intertwined which provides a familiarity within the series. Filled with a good storyline, internal struggles, romantic uncertainty and strong characters, this action-packed novel joins the others in a now favorite series.

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Another fast-paced suspense novel by author Lynette Eason but this time with a twist- a group of Elite Guardians charged with protecting their clients who are strong, independent women! Yeah!  Well written and full of unexpected suspense, I enjoyed staying on my toes through the story to come to a conclusion of who was guilty, although, sometimes it wasn’t easy to do, especially in Always Watching. I look forward to following this new series from a favorite suspense writer. Go girls!

No Place To Hide

Eason, Lynette. No Place To Hide: Hidden Identity Series. Grand Rapids, MI: Revell Publishing. 2015.

SUMMARY:
hideDetermined to help her long-ago-best-friend, Ian Lockwood, Jackie Sellers works to overcome her difficult past, failing faith, and possible heartache. Running from the FBI yet hiding from the criminals, Ian is almost out of options. Racing against time, circumstances and people who want him gone, he must also dig deeply for alternatives…

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Full of non-stop, heart-stopping thrills, Lynette Eason once again proves to be an exceptional mystery writer. With page-turning action, I enjoyed this novel, although, I considered the end to be a bit rushed. Part of the Hidden Identity series (Book #3), this could easily stand alone as a satisfying read. Full of suspense, adventure, emotions and an iota of faith, No Place To Hide has earned a spot on my bookshelf (albeit, I will probably lend it frequently). I look forward to more stories from this author, and will definitely try her other series.

Nowhere to Turn

Eason, Lynette. Nowhere to Turn. Grand Rapids, MI: Revell Publishing. 2014.

SUMMARY:
nowhereFinally relieved she and her son are safe after the death of her abusive husband, Dani Harding doesn’t know where to turn when someone else turns out to be after her. Hiring Adam Buchanan of Operation Refuge seems like a good idea until she realizes she truly cannot hide…

A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
Boom! Right out of the gate, the action starts and doesn’t stop until the end. Full of twist-and-turns in very real situations, the chase ensuing within keeps on without rest (including any for the reader). Quite the page turner, there was even a new twist to the storyline I had never encountered before and found utterly creative and even thought provoking. Prayers, faith and trust in God were incorporated into the story. As a new author for me, I am wondering how I never read any of her books before now…definitely a good read for mystery lovers. (Caution: make sure to plan accordingly…lack of sleep and neglect of work will result until the book is finished.)
