Pettrey, Dani. Sabotaged: Alaskan Courage Book 5. Bloomington, MN: Bethany House Publishers. 2015.
SUMMARY:
Kirra Jacobs and Reef McKenna volunteer their search-and-rescue skills at the Alaskan Iditarod race. When Kirra’s uncle, a strong competitor in the Iditarod, fails to check-in, Kirra and Reef set out to find him. Upon learning Kirra’s cousin has been kidnapped and must be found by the end of the race, the suspense, mystery, action, and adventures begin…
A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
As the final novel in the Alaskan Courage series, I thought this book was as well done as the previous ones. I was enthralled by the suspense and intense action surrounding the storyline while following the romance between Kirra and Reef, who have been rivals prior. Meeting several characters again from previous books in the series, it was fun to catch-up. Though Book 5, this story could stand alone just fine. The best part of the series? I absolutely loved the one-word titles all starting with the letter “s”…(Submerged, Shattered, Stranded, Silenced and Sabotaged)…and of course, the accompanying adventurous stories within each book. The book covers are amazing as well!
RATING:
4.5 (out of 5) pennies
