A PENNY FOR MY THOUGHTS:
The four sections of the book (suffering and loss, community, rest and missions) all encircled the areas in which God’s strength can be found. Through the daily readings, I found pieces to consider and ponder while building upon the blocks in the previous readings. With a strong Biblical presence, I was reminded of the difference actions can make when we ask God to help us, even within the small obstacles. The Bible Study, journal for notes and reflections as well as the further reading suggestions only added relevance. I appreciated the message of living life reflecting God’s empowerment.
