The Daughter of Highland Hall

Turansky, Carrie. The Daughter of Highland Hall. Colorado Springs, CO: Multnomah Books. 2014.

daughterBeautiful yet feisty Katherine Ramsey needs only to find a prosperous, title-bearing husband to make her future safe and sure; however, as she soon discovers, there may be more to life. Having recently made friends with Jon Foster, uncovered a family secret and tried to decide if the glamour and grandeur are enough, Katherine’s convictions may be tested…

Finally! Having waited (not so) patiently for this next book to be written, The Daughter of Highland Hall was all I had hoped it would be! Following The Governess of Highland Hall, this novel makes references to the prequel but in no way must be read in order. Full of adventure, faith, spirit and even a touch of humor, Carrie Turansky delivered yet again. My only regret is now having to wait for the next book in the series, A Refuge at Highland Hall, which isn’t due out until next October. Though very well written, the cover is so eye-catching, I kept closing the book to glance at it again!!
